Mr. Jinxiang Lu Chairman & CEO, Mr Lu graduated from Harbin Industrial University, majored in Heat Energy Power as a postgraduate with master’s degree. He engages in the management work of power engineering construction over a long period. Mr. Lu, who has abundant experience in research on distributed electric power control technology and in electric power construction management, is a famous engineering construction expert on power station not only in Liaoning Province but also in the whole country. He has taken part in and undertaken many power station engineering in Chaoyang, Tiefa, Huairen, Benxi and (Tianning) Shenyang of Liaoining Province as well as in Changxing of Zhejiang Province etc. Mr. Lu Jinxiang’s research production on distributed control system has once obtained "Second Prize for Improvement of National Defense Science Technology" awarded by Science Technology Industry Committee of China National Department of Defense and "Third Prize for Improvement of Education" awarded by China National Ministry of Education. Since Mr. Lu founded Liaoning High-tech Energy Group Co., Ltd in 2003, he has always been taking the development of the enterprise as his own obligation. John S. Lin Chief Operating Officer, Mr Lin has been a member of our board of directors since January 2008 and has served as our Chief Strategy Officer since April 2008. As our Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. Lin’s responsibilities include our overall global business strategy, mergers and acquisitions strategy and channel development. Mr. Lin also currently serves as a director and as the President and CEO of CBC International Capital Corp. and CBC Investment Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a position he has held since 2001. CBC advises Chinese companies in a variety of financial matters, including capital formation. He is experienced in raising capital in China and the U.S., structuring transactions and reorganizations of Chinese companies and public offerings of Chinese companies in exchanges worldwide. Mr. Lin has also served as a director and general manager of Chiway Investment (Anhui) Co., Ltd., which has been commissioned to manage 50 million dollars for Hefei city, China, to attract high technology businesses to the area, since September 2002, and as a director of Fair City Technology Co. Ltd., a privately held company, since October 2005. Mr. Lin is bilingual in English and Chinese and received a degree from Shanghai Traditional Medicine University and an Executive MBA from California State University Los Angeles.
Kin Kwong "Peter" Mak Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Mak joins A-Power from New Dragon Asia Corp. where he held the CFO position from 2004 to 2008. Previously, he was the managing partner of Arthur Andersen Southern China and also a partner of Arthur Andersen Worldwide. During his tenure at Arthur Andersen, Mr. Mak was contributed to several high- profile Chinese IPOs, such as Brilliance China Automotive, and China Strategic Holdings Limited. He currently is a director at a number of publicly-traded Chinese companies, including Trina Solar Ltd., China Security & Surveillance Technology, Inc., and China Grentech Corp. He is also the chair of the audit committee at Trina Solar, China Security & Surveillance Technology, and China Grentech. Mr. Mak earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the U.K., a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
